「飆風玫瑰」Derrick Rose前陣子身陷強姦婦女疑雲，從東岸的紐約大老遠奔波至西岸洛杉磯的法院受審，導致錯過本季開季前的熱身賽，如今法院還他及友人清白，Rose決定向誣告他的女子討回自己平白無故損失的7萬美元（約台幣224萬）訴訟費用。
該名女子在2013年8月邀請Rose和2名友人至家中，並且發生性行為，事後反告對方強姦藉此牟利，她向Rose求償2150萬美元（約台幣6.88億），好在她傳的煽情簡訊、照片Rose都有留下，經過2周的審判，9人陪審團和法官一致判定Rose和友人無罪。
Rose的律師團嚴厲譴責該名女子造假、破壞名聲和誣告的行為，同時提出事實證明原告名下擁有房產、汽車，戳破她在法庭上聲稱自己有經濟困難的說法，並決定對她行使民事訴訟勝方的權利，要求她償還股份有限公司設立Rose平白無故損失的訴訟費用。
